Interior design is the process of forming interior (inner, indoor) space of a building or structure. It is accomplished by manipulating the architectural integrity of the space. Although some people use the term interchangeably with interior decoration, the two are actually different in scope but only in USA where technical descriptions for the two fields are distinct. Otherwise, both refer to the same process.
